Even with the ever increasing costs of dental supplies, technology and even energy costs, we are finding that dental insurance companies are actually attempting to LOWER (yes, lower) their reimbursements for your care. What does this mean? Basically, an insurance company is interested in one thing, profit! With ever decreasing fee schedules, it places increased pressures on dental professionals to cut corners, sacrifice quality for quantity and limit procedures done in house. For instance, if we were contracted with some major insurance companies, our hygienists would only be able to spend HALF the amount of time with you during your routine cleaning visits twice a year. That is not how we intend to practice and it certainly is not what you expect from us!
Therefore, Watkins Glen Family Dentistry is currently not in network with any dental insurance companies. We ACCEPT and process claims for EVERY dental insurance company out there. These include (but not limited to), Delta Dental, Cigna, Metlife, Lifetime, Excellus BC/BS, Humana, Guardian, Aetna, Ameritas, GEHA, United Healthcare and more!

We process and accept Care Credit. This gives our patients another great avenue of getting the treatment they want and deserve with fair pricing and finance options to fit each individual.
