Dr. Haentges received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Health Studies from the University at Buffalo. He graduated in 2016 from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with a minor in Pediatric dentistry and electives in sports dentistry, forensic dentistry and esthetic dentistry, and with certification in the use of diode lasers.

Dr. Haentges completed a year-long Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Stratton-Albany Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albany, NY. In addition, he has had training in placement of both conventional and mini implants.  He has been practicing in the Southern-Tier for about 4 years now.

Dr. Haentges lives with his wife, Sherilyn, and their three children, Elorah, Autley, Taysum and Sheaodyn.  They also have a dog, a Shi-Tzu baby boy (He's 10), Rigby.

Dr. Haentges will be offering dental treatment to patients at the Watkins Glen office in all areas of general dentistry, including CEREC same-day crowns, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, oral surgery, and SureSmile orthodontics.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the 7th District Dental Society, and the New York State Dental Association.
